What is recruitment software infrastructure?
Recruitment software infrastructure is the full set of connected systems, data rules and automated workflows that run hiring from an approved requisition to a paid employee. The ATS is the system of record at the centre, but the infrastructure also covers the sourcing channels, screening chatbots, assessments, background checks, the HRMS, payroll and the reporting layer on top.
The difference from a standalone ATS matters. An ATS stores and tracks candidates. Infrastructure moves data and triggers action between systems, so the ATS, the chatbot and the HRMS work from one candidate record rather than three copies of it.
