lamp

At graylink we’re all huge fans of Neptune and want to make sure that you also feel the love!

Our Spotlight Sessions are training workshops, where we cover different topics and ‘deep dive’ into parts of Neptune which will enable you to recruit quicker, more efficiently and for less. These training sessions are FREE and are offered at our offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, on a BYOD basis (Bring Your Own Device). Please note that space is limited to 8 users per session so please book early!

July: The Power of Application Questions

You have probably worked with application questions for a while now, but are you finding most of your applicants score 100% or are you having difficulty determining the key questions versus the ‘sugar on the top’ questions and how to measure them?

The great aspect of this functionality is that there is always more to learn, always more tips and tricks to help you in finding the needle in the haystack candidates. Not only do the application questions effectively surface the key candidates through filtering and screening, they also save time and effort going forward.

August – Topic One: A ‘Behind the Scenes’ look at Jobs

You know how to create a job for sure! But perhaps you’re not quite sure:

• how to search for other users’ jobs,
• to add users to your jobs with unique permissions,
• to advertise the job to your company’s different Neptune sites,
• the pros and cons of cloning & the pros and cons of re-advertising,
• how to audit changes on a job and exporting its attachments,
• and adding identified candidates to a job

This topic will showcase the ins and outs of Jobs in Neptune.

August – Topic Two: Neptune and txthire

Do you find that a key portion of your target candidate audience is “offline”? If you recruit for retail staff, artisans, graduates or sales teams you may find that your ideal candidates are not at a desk or don’t have the time to complete a lengthy application process.

Txthire allows candidates to register their details or apply for a specific job via SMS or Facebook Messenger. This means that candidates can apply wherever they are, using the most basic feature phone, even if they don’t have internet access. Neptune can either create a talent pipeline for future review or apply them directly into a specified job.

We are happy to announce that we have developed a free version of this software which can be plugged straight into your existing Neptune deployment at no extra charge. This session will help you understand more about how txthire can add value to your current recruitment model.

September: “The people with the best people win” Talent Pipelining & Proactive Recruitment

You have a wonderful resource at your disposal – a large database of candidates who have chosen to register their details with your organisation!

The important thing now is to ensure you tap into that repository by proactively searching for candidates, as well as create pipelines for replacing and filling the scarce skills’ positions within your company.

These sessions will focus on effectively searching your Neptune database, and setting up pipelines for ongoing organisational needs.
