Instead of sending our valued clients gifts this festive season, graylink will be donating to the Learn to Earn Programme, a leading skills-development non-profit organisation based in the Western Cape. Since 1989, Learn to Earn has trained tens of thousands of unemployed persons in valuable market-focused skills, with the motto of ‘a hand up – not a hand out’.
Learn to Earn’s skills development programme is closely aligned with graylink’s vision for improving Africa. Employment and economic development are key to continued growth in Africa. The available talent pool of skilled persons remains a constraint and barrier to employability and employment in Africa. Skills development is therefore absolutely critical to enabling the people of Africa to find skilled jobs. Their success feeds the success of all Africans.
If you’re interested in contributing to the Learn to Earn programme, there are a number of ways you can get involved:
Visit: Visit the Learn to Earn coffee shops in Khayelitsha or Hermanus for breakfast or lunch during the week, or hire a boardroom or hall for a function. More info.
Donate: If you would like to donate money or products to assist the work of Learn to Earn, click here.
Volunteer: Click here to volunteer your skills, knowledge or experience at Learn to Earn.
In helping organisations across Africa recruit better talent, graylink helps them become more successful. Their success means more jobs, more hope, more prosperity and a better future for all Africans.
